Madeleine's story feels like finding a long lost bundle of love letters tied in red ribbon, dripping with passion and poison. It's a modern story of revenge porn and retribution that took place in 1857.

Madeleine is made in the image of the only existing photograph of her. She wears a black imitation silk buttoned jacket over a full skirt. Her cuffs and collar are antique linen, and the bow at her neck is antique silk. Madeleine comes home to you with a set of wee letters, and a tiny arsenic bottle.
Madeleine was made in my smoke free, one cat household. She is made of tea dyed cotton muslin, and fiberfill. I made her, and her clothing with a combination of machine and hand stitching. Her hair is felting wool, and if you press your nose to it and sniff it does smell faintly, well, sheepish. I find it pleasant, and it does fade in time. But if you are extremely scent sensitive, please consider this.
