Anne Boleyn (born between 1501-1507 died 1536)

Anne was an ambitious and determined woman. She kept Henry enthralled with her for seven years as she made her way to the throne.  She managed this while never visiting his bed, using his desire to drive him toward marriage.

Their marriage lasted only three years. In that time, she proved herself to be intelligent and opinionated. She gave birth to Princess Elizabeth in 1533. She had three more babies who either died in infancy or were stillborn. In 1536, Anne was arrested for High treason and beheaded.

After Anne’s death, which she met with great dignity, few mourned. Within two weeks however, there were ballads circulating that portrayed her as a wronged heroine.

Anne wear sumptuous purple satin with gold brocade embroidery. She is adorned with a double strand pearl necklace which features her little golden 'B' and a gold chain. Her sleeves and waist are trimmed in gold. Her french hood is trimmed in pearl, and the veil is black velvet.

Anne  was made in my smoke free, one cat household. She is made of cotton muslin and fiberfill. I made her and her clothing using a combination of machine and hand stitching. Her hair is felting wool worn in a braid down her back.
