Wilhemina, you shoulda seen her
when she was young and gay
She had a beau who swore to love her
till he was in his grave
but then he departed with another
who'd stolen his changeable heart
So Wilhelmina chased them down
and ran over them with her cart.
This Poppet comes with her story handwritten by me with a dip pen and black ink.
Wilhelmina wears a rust red patterned silk skirt and cravat with a houndstooth tweed riding jacket. Her cravat features a wee gold tone brooch.
Her antique bubble frame 'shadowbox' is sold separately.
Wilhelmina was made in my smoke free, one cat household. She is made of cotton muslin and fiberfill. I made her and her clothing using a combination of machine and hand stitching. Her hair is wool. Her elbows, knees and wrists bend. She stands 23" tall.
