Sarabelle was quite the swell, she stole the ladies hearts
Their friendships grew until they flew into showers of dazzling sparks
She loved them with such ardor, she loved them all aflame
But in the end what mattered was her respectability and name.
And so they each were let down sweetly, with chocolates and a rose
Not knowing that in those chocolates lay a deadly overdose
This Poppet comes with her story handwritten by me with a dip pen and black ink.
Sarabelle wears forest green skirt and riding jacket with finely pinstriped brown lapels. Her pleated blouse is made with the same fine pin striped fabric as her lapels. She sports a gold necklace and a goldstone jacket embellishment and wee button.
Her shadowbox is sold separately.
Sarabelle was made in my smoke free, one cat household. She is made of cotton muslin and fiberfill. I made her and her clothing using a combination of machine and hand stitching. Her hair is wool. Her elbows, knees and wrists bend. She stands 23" tall.
