I hand beaded black felt with golden glass beads before sewing a piece of actual honeycomb to it. I then attached an Antique Jet bee bead from the 1800's. The honeycomb is very fragile. It is all contained in a 4 x 3 inch wooden box which I painted black. Sits on any surface.
