Minnie was a singer, and on the stage she shone
her manager did raise her up and set her on a throne
Great fame he did create for her, and in return he stole
her maidenhead, her dignity, and finally her soul.

Left disgraced she sang through tears,
as he smirked his smug disdain
then with her voice all tremulous she carefully took aim
He looked aghast, shot through at last
 and many a woman rejoiced
but as for poor dear Minnie,
 that shot silenced her voice
She hung upon the gallows, her broken heart avenged
she swore she'd hunt him down in hell,
 and murder him again.
This Poppet comes with her story handwritten by me with a dip pen and black ink.
Minnie wears a dress of peacock blue dupioni silk. Her trim is gold with jewel tone at her neckline, cuffs and in her hair.
Her shadowbox is sold.
Minnie was made in my smoke free, one cat household. She is made of cotton muslin and fiberfill. I made her and her clothing using a combination of machine and hand stitching. Her hair is wool. Her elbows, knees and wrists bend. She stands 23" tall.
