Despair felt herself to be the very loss of hope, she held her head and wept without consolation.
Despair wears a bodice and skirt of black linen. Her neckline and waist are embellished with crochet and hand beaded with antique beads. Her cuffs are lace. She wears a removable Mourning Veil, held in place with an antique mourning pin. Her hair is the softest blond wool, and is worn loose with a braid at her hairline. Despair comes with a wee handmade hankie of my choice, made of antique linen, and hand embroidered.
Despair was made in my smoke free, one cat household. She is made of cotton muslin and fiberfill. I made her and her clothing using a combination of machine and hand stitching. Her hair is wool. Her elbows, knees and wrists bend. She stands 23" tall.
