This piece started with a little 1930's ceramic girl in a collared dress and holding a flower, which I painted black. I added cicada wings and an antique silver, pearl and gemstone embellishment to her base, which is black painted cork. She sits prettily with or without her glass dome.
Measuring barely 4 1/2" with the dome, she's a perfect little addition to a beloved shelf.
