The much beloved Jane Eyre. Determined, independent, intelligent and resilient.
Jane wears a somber dress in a dark grey pattern with an antique white linen collar and cuffs. Her hair is braided and bound at the back of her head. She comes with a handmade little portfolio that closes with a tie and button closure. I filled it with tiny illustrations from an 1800's Harper's Magazine. Jane is 24" tall.
Jane was made in my smoke free home studio. I use cotton muslin for her body and her knees and elbows bend. Jane's body is made with a combination of machine and hand stitching. I hand stuff and hand assembled her using a needle and thread. Her hair is wool.
